Terms & Conditions of Service
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by ThinkSecure Systems Ltd. By engaging our services or accepting a quotation, the client agrees to be bound by these terms. These Terms & Conditions are subject to change without notice. The version applicable is the one available at the time of booking or service agreement.
1. Services Provided
We supply, install, and configure CCTV, alarm systems, and other security-related products for residential and commercial clients. A detailed quotation will be provided prior to work commencement.
2. Quotations and Payments
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Clients are required to pay the full cost of equipment in advance to confirm their booking. Labour charges are due upon completion.
If maintenance is included, it must be paid in full upfront alongside equipment costs.
Payment methods will be specified on the invoice.
If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3. Scheduling and Access
Installation dates are agreed in advance and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
The client must ensure suitable access to the premises on the agreed date(s).
Missed appointments may incur a call-out or rescheduling fee.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring permission has been obtained for any work at the property.
A working power supply and internet connection (if applicable) must be available during installation.
The client agrees not to interfere with equipment or cabling once installed, unless advised.
5. CCTV Compliance
Where CCTV systems are installed, the client is responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection laws, including the display of warning signage and secure handling of recorded footage. A CCTV Compliance Checklist will be provided to assist clients with this responsibility.
6. Warranty and Liability
New equipment is covered by manufacturer warranty, typically 12 months unless stated otherwise.
Installation workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of installed systems.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total contract price.
We are not responsible for the misuse, tampering, or unauthorised access of installed systems by third parties after installation.
We are not responsible for the performance, security, or longevity of any client-supplied equipment.
7. Data Protection

8. Work Acceptance
Work will not commence without a signed Work Acceptance & Client Agreement form. This confirms the agreed scope of work, associated charges, and that the client accepts our terms and responsibilities as outlined.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performing our obligations if caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, or supplier delays.
10. Termination
Either party may cancel the agreement in writing with 3 working days' notice. If the client cancels after equipment has been ordered or work has started, costs may be deducted from any refund.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
